The Jackson County chapter of the American Red Cross, a Jackson County United Way agency, will be hosting its inaugural wine festival on Saturday, June 21 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at AEL BEKA Estates, Pat Hobbs, owner. This southern plantation style estate is located at 941 N Co Rd 250 E in Brownstown, Indiana.
Wineries participating include Ferrin’s Fruit Winery, Simmons Winery, French Lick Winery, Buck Creek Winery, Chateau di Pique, Turtle Run Winery, Huber Winery and Chateau Thomas. Local food vendors will be onsite and live music will be provided throughout the event. Guests are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets for a day of southern hospitality nestled in Jackson County, Indiana.
Tickets are $20 per guest and available at the Red Cross office at 410 Indianapolis Ave, Seymour, or by calling Wilma Wessel at 812-522-3888.
Contributions to the American Red Cross, a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, are tax deductible. The Red Cross receives no federal or state funding. The Jackson County Chapter relies on the generosity of the American public to support its program.
Guests must be 21 years or older to sample wine. Proper identification will be checked upon entering the event.
