Scott County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to 6072 E. Polk Road in southeast Scott County last Wednesday, March 15, with the report of a domestic disturbance.
When deputies arrived heard screaming, loud noises and saw people inside the home running about. While conducting the investigation, deputies could smell the odor of burnt marijuana. Deputies also located marijuana in plain view.
After securing the residence and obtaining a search warrant was obtained for the residence officers located additional marijuana, heroin, paraphernalia associated with drug dealing and use, digital scales and numerous firearms.
Charged following the incident were Robert Swope Sr., 56, for possession of heroin, possession of marijuana, maintaining a common nuisance, and possession of paraphernalia; Robert Swope Jr., 28, for possession of marijuana, battery, and maintaining a common nuisance; Destin Swope, 27, for possession of marijuana, battery, and maintaining a common nuisance; and Tiffany Howell, 26, for possession of marijuana and visiting a common nuisance.
