The second annual Music In The Park will be this Saturday, Sept. 19, from 5 to 11 p.m. in the Doris Kovener Shelterhouse at Countryside Park on County Road 1000 E just west of town.

The event is host by the Crothersville Parks and Recreation with financial sponsorship by Crothersville VFW Post 1083 and Aisin Drivetrain Inc.

The music is free and the evening features food from Grillo’s Authentic Mexican Food, Crothersville FFA’s world-famous pork burgers and The Bearded Hobo Brewing Company will be serving ice cold adult beverages to the 21 and older attendees.

There will be a pre-show Open Mic at 4:45 with sign up at 4:30 p.m.

Performing will be:

5:00 p.m.— Fred and Steve Acoustic Show

6:30 p.m. — Redneck Noize 

8:00 p.m. — District1 

9:30-11:00 p.m. — Forrest Turner and the Smoking Torpedoes

There will be a guided hike of Tiger Valley Walking Trails at 7:30 p.m.

Bring your family, your friends, and your lawn chairs night of music and memories under the stars.

It is suggested that residents, walk, ride bikes, or carpool as parking is limited.

No outside alcohol is allowed, due to Indiana Alcoholic Beverage Commission laws.
