Construction of Crothersville’s new water tower continues along Industrial Way on the town’s south side.
Thick steel panels were formed and fabricated at the facilities of Maguire Iron in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, trucked to Crothersville where Maguire crews have been busy these past few weeks welding the parts together forming the components of a 78,000 gallon high tower which will be lifted and welded into place.
When completed the additional high tower will provide improved water supply and pressure to the town’s industrial park and have the community prepared for future industrial expansion.
Mitchell & Stark Construction of Medora is the general contractor for the water tower project.
