Pursuant to I.C. 36-7-4-920, the City of Salem, Washington County, Indiana (the “City”) gives notice of a public hearing to be conducted by the Board of Zoning Appeals (the “BZA”) regarding an Application for Developmental Standards Variance under the Salem Zoning Ordinance (the “Application”) submitted by Heather Williams (the “Applicant”) relating to the property located at 101, 103, 105 Hounds Way., bearing parcel ID 88-24-18-444-034.002-022, 88-24-18-444-034.007-022, 88-24-18-444-034.006-022 (the “Property”).

The Applicant seeks a developmental standards variance for the Property for New home constructions infringing 5’ onto front setback.  The public hearing will be held at 6:00 p.m. (ET) on July 27, 2026, in the Council Chambers located at City Hall, 201 E. Market Street, Salem, Indiana 47167, where all interested parties will be given an opportunity to testify regarding this proposed developmental standards variance.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING OF THE POSEY TOWNSHIP ADVISORY BOARD OF POSEY TOWNSHIP, WASHINGTON COUNTY, INDIANA

Notice is hereby given that the Posey Township Advisory Board of Posey Township, Washington County, Indiana (the “Board”), which serves as the governmental body of Posey Township, Washington County, Indiana (the “Township”), will conduct a public hearing on July 15, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. (local time) at the Office of the Township Trustee at 9804 S. Horners Chapel Road, Fredericksburg, Indiana 47120, to receive and hear from all persons regarding the recommendation by the Township Trustee to award a public-private agreement (“BOT Agreement”) to James L. Shireman, Inc. d/b/a Shireman Construction or an affiliate thereof (“Offeror”) in connection with the design and construction of an expansion to the Township’s fire station, including the addition of three bays for trucks, a meeting room, a kitchen, and a storage room for records (the “Project”), in which the Offeror will subsequently transfer the Project to the Township. 

Following the public hearing, the Board will consider any input received and whether to award the BOT Agreement to the Offeror and take such other actions as shall be necessary or desired.
