Voters in Indiana may now begin requesting an absentee ballot by mail for the May 2026 Primary Election.

If you prefer to vote from home, will be out of town, or qualify for absentee voting, now is the time to submit your application.

The deadline to apply for an absentee ballot by mail is Thursday, April 23.

Applications can be completed online, by mail, or in person at the Clerk’s Office in Jackson or Scott Counties.
