Enrolling in Medicare can be overwhelming—between the flood of mail, confusing terminology, and countless coverage options, it’s hard to know where to begin.

To help ease the process, the Schneck Foundation is proud to present Medicare Simplified, a free educational seminar designed to take the confusion out of Medicare enrollment and empower attendees with clear, unbiased information. The organization does not sell insurance or promote specific plans.

Guest speaker Scott Donahue, from the nonprofit organization Medicare Simplified, will guide participants through essential topics, including:

•When and how to enroll in Medicare

•Understanding the different parts of Medicare

•How to review and update your current coverage

•What to consider if you have an employer-sponsored plan.

This event is part of Schneck Foundation’s “Covered and In Control” series, which also includes Advance Care Planning: Preparing for the Unexpected on September 4 and What’s the Advantage: Navigating Medicare Advantage October 28 and 29—programs designed to empower individuals with the knowledge and tools to make informed healthcare decisions.

Seminars will be held Thursday, Aug. 7 & Monday, Aug. 11 at 5 p.m. in  Seymour at the Schneck Professional Building, Classroom 500, 411 West Tipton Street

A seminar will be held Thursday, Aug. 7 at 11 a.m. at the Jennings County Public Library, 2375 IN-3 in North Vernon.

A complimentary meal will be served 30 minutes prior to each seminar. Seating is limited and registration is required.
