Bestselling author and industry insider Jane Friedman will be the featured speaker during a writing workshop sponsored by the Woman’s Press Club of Indiana Education Fund.
Friedman, an award-winning editor, author, and publisher, will present, “Earning Money in a Creator Economy (Even If You Aren’t An Influencer).” The 90-minute presentation will be held in Batesville, Indiana, at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 22. Doors will open at 12:30 p.m.
“The Press Club is delighted to offer this low-cost workshop to writers as part of our educational outreach,” WPCI President Viv Sade said. “Jane’s presentations are in high demand at workshops across the country, so this is an exciting opportunity for writers to learn from a respected expert how to make money in this tough industry.”

The Woman’s Press Club of Indiana Education Fund is the nonprofit arm of the Woman’s Press Club of Indiana, established in 1913 by women who sought representation in their newsrooms and organizations as well as at the Indiana State Legislature.
