Planning is underway for the Crothersville Christmas Festivities Saturday, Dec. 7 beginning with the lighting of the town Christmas tree at the stoplight at 5:30 p.m.
The parade will form in the south parking lot at the Crothersville School beginning at 6 p.m. going south on Preston Street to Moore Street will continue to U.S. Highway 31, turn north to the stoplight and east to Hamacher Hall.
Santa will greet youngsters at 6:30 p.m. with cookies and hot chocolate.
The Christmas Auction at Hamacher Hall will begin at 7:30 p.m. with soft drinks available during the auction for a donation.
