The Indiana Immunization Coalition held their annual awards ceremony on Thursday, May 16, in McCordsville with two public health workers from Scott County received awards.
Melissa Beswick, RN, (left) the Scottsburg Middle School nurse won the award for the School Immunization Champion Award. Melissa has worked tirelessly to collaborate with the Health Department to make sure that students are up to date on all needed immunizations.
Scott County Health Department Public Health Nurse Sherry McNeely, LPN (right) won the Indiana Immunization Public Health Advocate Award. She has devoted many years making sure all residents of Scott County have access to immunizations to keep county residents healthy.
