The 17th annual Ride for a Cure hosting a car show, documentary viewing, and auction to raise money for families battling cancer.

The families of Cynthia Williams, Jordan King, Megan Stone, Beverly Roberts, Phil Miller, Jeff Moffatt and Easton Collins were selected this year for the funds raised.

This Saturday, September 9, a car show will be at The Eagle Stop on the south edge of Austin where registration is from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The trophies will awarded at 3 p.m.

Following the car show at 7 p.m., there will be a documentary shown at the Ross Theater on the courthouse square created by Transform Media of Clarksville. The viewing of the documentary is free to the public and will share the history of 17 years of the Ride for a Cure.

Ride for a Cure volunteer Tina Kuzdal said about the documentary, “Come and learn about the history behind 17 years of love and community perseverance to help those in need.”

This Sunday, Sept. 10 at 1 p.m. an auction to raise funds will take place at the Mid-America Science Park. The auctioneer will be Dale Hall of Hall’s Auction Service.

On Saturday, Sept. 16, will be the Ride for a Cure for motorcycles, Jeeps, and Razors with registration starting at 9 a.m. and the ride starting at noon at the Mid America Science. There will also be a live auction after the ride is over for the fundraising for the selected families.
