The City of Scottsburg held a ribbon cutting last Tuesday at its newly renovated and expanded Wastewater Treatment Plant on North Third Street. The expansion of the treatment plant will lift the sewer ban placed on Scottsburg in 2019.
The ceremonial opening included remarks by Mayor Terry Amick, Scottsburg Wastewater Superintendent Chase Hardin, CEO and Senior Project Engineer of Midwestern Engineering Mark Sullivan and Project Superintendent of Bowen Engineering Greg Turner.
Pictured along with Mayor Amick cutting the ribbon are city officials and people who have helped get the Wastewater Treatment Plant project up to date.
