The Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center will celebrate their reopening from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 7. This is the first public event in more than two years.
“Welcome Back to the Wild” will include many things which guests have loved in the past. A schedule of events follows:
8 a.m. – Bird Walk
10 a.m. – Hawk and Eagle Program with Live Birds
10-2 p.m. – Children’s Nature Activities
10-1 p.m. – Silent Auction
Noon – Junior Duck Stamp Contest Recognition
Noon – Tree Walk
12:30 p.m. – Cake Walk
1 p.m. – Owl Program with Live Birds
Walk-in visitors will be allowed in the closed area of the Refuge.
