Scott County Sheriff’s Deputies incarcerated three women on a variety of drug related charges this past week.
On Saturday, May 15, acting on a citizen’s tip, Deputy Johnney Coomer went to Austin to locate a woman wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant. He located and arrested Tiffany Coomer, 32, of Deputy on two out of county arrest warrants and for possession of a controlled substance, possession of a syringe, visiting a common nuisance and possession of paraphernalia.
On Monday, May 17, Deputy Josh Juliot responded to an a report of a suspicious person at Lake Iola in Scottsburg. His investigation led to the arrest of Rebecca Davis, 43, of Scottsburg for possession of a controlled substance and possession of methamphetamine.
On Wednesday, May 19, Deputy Skylar Thompson went to a business in Scottsburg to serve an outstanding arrest warrant. When he arrived, Jennifer Marquez, 33, of Austin was arrested on an out of state arrest warrant and possession of paraphernalia.
