A rural Scott County woman was arrested for dealing methamphetamine last Wednesday, Sept. 10.
Indiana State Police, US Postal Inspectors, and agents with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms completed a search at 5420 N. Terry Road northeast of Austin.
The warrant was a result of a tip received of believed illegal drug activity at the residence.
Police uncovered around three ounces of methamphetamine with a value of $9,000, according to ISP Sgt. Jerry Goodin.
After the search, Bonnie Y. Wicker, 31, was arrested on a preliminary charge of dealing methamphetamine. She was booked into the Scott County Jail. Goodin said, the investigation is continuing.
