The team of Jim Doolan, Craig Moore, Parker Wiethoff, and Ron Zike combined to score 53 and placed first in the 42nd Annual Dr. Bud Graessle Golf Scramble at Shadowood Golf Course on June 28.
Eric Fish, MD, President and CEO of Schneck Medical Center, reported that 63 teams participated in the event to raise funds for the Dr. Bud Nursing Scholarship Fund.

The Dr. Bud Scholarship program was established in honor of Dr. H.P. “Bud” Graessle. Born in Seymour, Dr. Graessle was a practicing physician and surgeon for 53 years until his retirement in 1971. All proceeds from the golf scramble provide scholarships for registered nursing and nurse practitioner students in Jackson, Jennings, Scott, and Washington counties.
