The Scott County Sheriff’s office was called to the Mann Ave & Broadwway area in northeast Austin around 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 29 on the report of a 2012 Ford Focus for erratic driving.

During the traffic stop the deputy could smell an odor of raw marijuana emitting from the vehicle. Seeking assistance from Austin & Scottsburg Police, authorities located about 2.5 Grams of Fentanyl, four packages of edible THC; over 100 Grams of Green Marijuana; a loaded Draco assault rifle, a Glock 9 MM handgun with a loaded 50 round drum, and $4,471.00 in cash.

Occupants of the vehicle arrested included:

Antonio Glenn, 19, of Louisville, KY was charged with possession of a handgun without a permit, driving without a license, resisting law enforcement, dealing in a controlled substance, dealing in marijuana and maintaining a common nuisance.

Dayvon Washington, 22, of Louisville, KY was charged with possession of a handgun without a permit, dealing in a controlled substance, dealing in marijuana and maintaining a common nuisance.

Rickie Shoulders, 21, Louisville, KY was charged with possession of a handgun without a permit, dealing in a controlled substance, dealing in marijuana and visiting a common nuisance.

Daryl Horton, 20, Owensboro, KY was charged with  possession of a handgun without a permit, dealing in a controlled substance, dealing in marijuana and visiting a common nuisance.

All were incarcerated in Scott County Jail.

“If you think you are going to come to Scott County and peddle your poisonous dope, think again, you will go to jail”, said Sheriff Jerry Goodin. “When we issued our warning to all dope dealers to stay out of Scott County, we meant it. I hope these arrests will help spread the word even more.”
