Two Jackson County men were arrested following three local burglaries, according to officals with the Crothersville Police Department.
Local officers investigated three burglaries which occurred Sunday and Monday, Sept. 26 & 27, in which several items were stolen while residents were not at home.
On Friday, Oct. 1, Kenneth L. Lowe, 20, of Seymour and Travis L. Charles, 20, of Vallonia were arrested and charged on three counts of burglary, possession stolen property, sale of stolen property, and posession of fire arms, according to Chief of Police Vurlin McIntosh.
“The arrest of these two men have solved several burglaries in several counties,” said McIntosh. Charges are pending by the the Indiana State Police in Bloomington and the Jackson County Sheriffs Department, he added.
“Anyone buying anything from these two men, it is likely stolen property,” said McIntosh. “You are not in any trouble if you call the Crothersville Police Department 793-0049 and turn the items in.
