The Tri-County Conservation Club, built in 1949 southwest of Crothersville is in need of financial help due to high energy bills and depleted funds.
“Our continued existence is in jeopardy and we need financial supporters quickly,” said Club President Brian Karnes. “The club is out of propane, waterlines need repaired and the water bill is in arrears.”
Next Tuesday, March 11, is the club’s next meeting and everyone interested is invited to help financially, give ideas or call 793-3013 or 498-6522 to make arrangements for a donation.
“This meeting will decide if the doors will close or if we will be able to have the scheduled fish fry & chili supper on Saturday, March 22,” said Karnes.
