The town of Crothersville  will be flushing fire hydrants in town next Thursday morning, Oct. 25. The flushing will begin at 9 a.m. and is expected to take about half a day.
“Residents should be mindful that water will become discolored during the flushing,” said water superintendent Chris Mains. “It would be best if no laundry is done during this time to prevent stains on clothing.”
Officials said that water should return to normal clarity by the evening or next morning at the latest.
