According to Crothersville Town Council President Ardell Mitchell, representatives of Indiana-American Water company have expressed interest in acquiring the Crothersville water utility.
Indiana American provides water to the community of Seymour and is located in Indiana and 34 other states.
At last Tuesday;s town council meeting council president Ardell Mitchell announced that he had be approached by Indiana American representatives interested in talking with the town about acquiring the local water utility.
Council member Bill Nagle agreed that the council should meet with the multi-state water utility to hear what they had to say.
Mitchell and Nagle will schedule a meeting with Indiana American officials to learn what they have in mind.
