The 2012-2013 Tiger basketball season is just around the corner and the Crothersville chapter of the National Honor Society is looking for Tiger Backers. It is hoped that community members will continue with their generous support and become a Tiger Backer in this season’s basketball program again this year.
The money raised from Tiger Backers and advertisements help to pay for the costs of the basketball program and NHS events. Some of the activities in which the NHS members participate are cooking breakfast for the local senior citizens group and an after-school tutoring program for our elementary students.
To become a Tiger Backer, donate $10 to the NHS at Crothersville High School. Donors names will be printed on the back of the CHS Tigers Basketball Program in recognition of their support. Forms may be picked up at the CHS office, downloaded from the CHS Athletics webpage, or by contacting NHS sponsor, Joyce Howell via e-mail, jhowell@crothersville.k12.in.us.
