VFW Serving Lunch This Sunday

VFW Post 1083 Crothersville will hold an Open Sunday serving lunch this Sunday, Oct. 9.

On the menu will be fried chicken, meat loaf, mashed potatoes & gravy, green beans, sides and desserts.

Serving will begin at noon. The public is invited to join in the monthly fundraiser.

Harvest Dinner Served This Sunday At Weagan

An annual harvest dinner will be served from 4-7 p.m. this Sunday, Oct. 9, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church at Weagan.

The public is invited to the event which will feature a traditional meal of turkey and all the trimmings along with home made desserts. Cost of the meal is a free-will donation.

The church is located at 1140 E 400 S, northwest of Tampico.
