The Schneck Foundation Scholarship Committee is pleased to announce that it is now accepting scholarship applications for allied healthcare fields.
Students who are interested in pursuing a course of study in a technical/professional allied health career are welcome to apply for consideration. Acceptance for enrollment at a school and program of study in a technical/professional field is required for the scholarship to be officially awarded.
It is the desire of the Foundation to interest individuals in healthcare fields. Since there are no other scholarships available specifically for this group, the Schneck Foundation devotes its efforts to the allied health areas, including, but not limited to, clinical support areas such as speech therapy, respiratory therapy, lab technology, pharmacy, physical therapy and radiological technology. This scholarship program was started in 1992 and since that time has awarded over $317,000 in scholarships.
A scholarship application may be obtained online at www.schneckfoundation.org, or from the Schneck Medical Center Foundation Office, located in Suite 125 of the Jackson Medical Building, 225 South Pine Street, Seymour. Applications will also be available from counselors at local high schools.
Applications must be completed and returned to the Foundation/Development Office no later than March 15, 2013 to be eligible for consideration.
