Rural Austin Man Charged After Lying To Police



In November 2015, Eric Lock, 32, of Cutshall Road south of Austin, made a police report to troopers with the Indiana State Police that he had been robbed with the robber using a knife.

During the police investigation, they discovered that Lock was not being completely truthful about the incident, according to ISP Sgt. Jerry Goodin.

Lock was arrested early Friday morning, July 8, after a warrant was issued by the Scott County Courts charging him with false informing.

Lock was incarcerated at the Scott County Jail at 3:33 a.m.
