On or about December 4, 2015, the Town of Crothersville will submit a request to the Indiana Housing & Community Development Authority (IHCDA) for the release of Community Development Block Grant funds under Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended, to undertake a project known as:
Project title: Town of Crothersville Owner-Occupied Rehabilitation Program
Purpose/Scope of project: Rehabilitation of owner-occupied housing units located within the Crothersville town limits.
Estimated funding: $155,750
Project location if applicable: Scattered sites within the Town of Crothersville
The activities proposed are categorically excluded under HUD regulations at 24 CFR Part 58 from National Environmental Policy Act requirements. An Environmental Review Record (ERR) that documents the environmental determinations for this project is on file at the Crothersville Town Hall, 101 W. Howard Street, Crothersville, IN where the ERR can be examined or copied by request.
Any individual, group, or agency may submit written comments on the ERR to the Town of Crothersville, 101 W. Howard Street, IN 47229. All comments received by December 3, 2015 will be considered by the Town of Crothersville prior to authorizing submission of a request for release of funds.
RELEASE OF FUNDS
The Town of Crothersville certifies to IHCDA that Ardell Mitchell in his capacity as Town Council President consents to accept the jurisdiction of the Federal Courts if an action is brought to enforce responsibilities in relation to the environmental review process and that these responsibilities have been satisfied. IHCDA’s approval of the certification satisfies its responsibilities under NEPA and related laws and authorities, and allows the Town of Crothersville to use Program funds.
OBJECTIONS TO RELEASE OF FUNDS
IHCDA will accept objections to its release of funds and the Town of Crothersville’s certification for a period of fifteen days following the anticipated submission date or its actual receipt of the request (whichever is later) only if they are on one of the following bases: (a) the certification was not executed by the Certifying Officer of the Town of Crothersville; (b) the Town of Crothersville has omitted a step or failed to make a decision or finding required by HUD regulations at 24 CFR Part 58; (c) the Town of Crothersville has committed funds or incurred costs not authorized by 24 CFR Part 58 before approval of a release of funds by IHCDA; or (d) another Federal agency acting pursuant to 40 CFR Part 1504 has submitted a written finding that the project is unsatisfactory from the standpoint of environmental quality. Objections must be prepared and submitted in accordance with the required procedures (24 CFR Part 58) and shall be addressed to IHCDA, 30 South Meridian Street, Suite 1000, Indianapolis, IN 46204. Potential objectors should contact IHCDA to verify the actual last day of the objection period.

Pursuant to I.C. 29-1-7-7, notice is hereby given that Jeffrey J. Lorenzo was on September 29, 2015, appointed Administrator/Personal Representative of the Estate of Margaret J. Ward, deceased, who died intestate on April 24, 2015.
All persons having claims against this estate, whether or not now due, must file the claim in the Office of the Clerk of Jackson County, Indiana within three (3) months from the date of first publication of this notice, or within nine (9) months after the decedent’s death, whichever is earlier, or the claims will be forever barred.
