PUBLIC NOTICE

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The Jackson County Council has called for a public hearing on Ordinance No. 14, Council Bill No. 9, An ordinance establishing a Local option Income Tax for Public Safety and Property Tax Relief, to be held at the Jackson Courthouse Annex, Brownstown, Indiana at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, September 12, 2016.

Interested persons may appear in person or by counsel to present their views upon the ordinance. Written suggestions or objections to this ordinance may be filed with the Auditor before the hearing and will be considered by the Council.
