A probation check last week on North Jack Morgan Road resulted in the arrest of two for possession of methamphetamine, other drugs.
Troopers from the Indiana State Police Post and a probation officer from the Scott County Probation Department made a home visit to Brian Bowling, 6025 North Jack Morgan Road near Austin in Scott County.
While at the probationer’s home, authorities located methamphetamine, handguns and over $20,000.00 in cash. Also at the home was Norine F. Harrington, 52, of Scottsburg.
While interviewing Harrington police located methamphetamine and controlled substances on her.
Police arrested Brian K. Bowling, 46, for possession of methamphetamine, possession of a firearm by a violent offender, and maintaining a common nuisance.
Norine F. Harrington was charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of a schedule 3 controlled substance.
Both were incarcerated in the Scott County Jail.
