Indiana Conservation Officers arrested a Paris Crossing man for criminal mischief last Thursday, January 10, after he allegedly retaliated against a resident who reported deer poaching.
Mark C. Green, 37, of Paris Crossing was arrested and incarcerated at the Jennings County Jail on a preliminary charge of criminal mischief. The arrest was a result of an investigation by Indiana Conservation Officer Zach Walker concerning criminal mischief against a witness from a deer poaching investigation that had taken place during the fall of 2012.
The investigation began after the witness in the deer poaching incident reported that he had been incurring property damage at his residence during the last couple of weeks. The investigation is continuing and additional criminal charges against Green are expected, Walker said.
