The Crothersville Library will host speaker Matthew Otte of Crothersville at 6 p.m. on Thursday, February 3, in the Crothersville Library meeting room. Otte will speak about his hike along the Appalachian Trail and show slides from his adventure.
Admission is free and seating is limited. Registration is required by January 31.
A Crothersville high School graduate, Otte hiked the Appalachian trail and enjoys sharing tips about walking the various parts of the trail and showing photos of the beautiful landscape. He and his wife Jenny live near Seymour where he is the Supervisor of Recycling at the Department of Public Works.
