Ten members of the Crothersville FFA Chapter traveled to Springs Valley High School on Saturday, March 7, to participate in the District XI FFA Leadership Contests. These contests consisted of public speaking, demonstrations, and other individual contests. District XI is the largest district in the state with 27 FFA chapters competing for the chance to advance to the state contest in June at Purdue University.
Members left to right include: 1st row: Samantha Hurtt, 2nd place Quiz Bowl; Jada McIntosh, 3rd place Freshman Extemporaneous Public Speaking; Kayla Schneider, 1st place Job Interview and 1st place Plant and Soil Demonstration; Gabriella Walters, 2nd place Quiz Bowl, 3rd place Prepared Public Speaking, participated in Food Science demonstration, and 1st place in Home and Community Improvement Proficiency.
