Juniors and seniors at CHS registered to vote last week and then were given the opportunity to use the county’s new touchscreen voting machine. Here County Clerk Amanda Lowry shows Jacob Davidson how to use the electronic voting device. “It was pretty easy,” Davidson said following his first voting experience.
Lowry commented that younger voters are more accustomed to the higher technology of electronic voting than their older counterparts. “It is something they are used to due to the technology that they use everyday,” she said. “These kids will probably never vote a paper ballot unless they vote absentee.”
