A single red zinnia provides contrast to yellow black-eyed Susans in this last of summer garden. Extremely dry conditions coupled with extended heat made colorful scenes like this a rarity in Southern Indiana this summer.
Because of dry conditions an outside burn ban remains in effect in Jackson County.
