Kaitlyn Hoevener of the Crothersville FFA Chapter was awarded the Hoosier Farmer Degree during the Indiana FFA State Convention held in June at Purdue University. The Hoosier Farmer Degree is the highest degree that the Indiana FFA Association can bestow on a member.
The over 350 FFA members from across the State of Indiana qualify for this degree based on their work involvement in the agriculture field and their participation in FFA events. Only about two percent of all Indiana FFA members will qualify for this degree.
Kaitlyn is the daughter of Marty and Trina Hoevener of Crothersville. She is a 2013 graduate of Crothersville High School and is attending IUPUC in Columbus.
