With last week’s snow & ice and extended sub-freezing temperatures, homes throughout the area were decorated with large icicles. Crothersville was an “ice sandwich” with 6-inches of snow covered with a half inch of ice covered with another 5-inch layer of snow. With Saturday morning temperatures in the single digits, the thermometer rose to the low 50’s to allow considerble melting over the weekend.
