The Crothersville Town Players will host an Ice Cream Social this Saturday, August 20 from 6-8 p.m. at Hamacher Hall.
Admission is free, as are refreshments of ice cream, homemade cookies, iced tea and lemonade.
Live Entertainment will be provided.
“This free event is to encourage the exploration and preservation of Crothersville history, and to promote interest in cultural and performing arts,” said Brenda Holzworth, president of the CTP.
Other organizers of the group Vice-President – Dorothy J. Rice, Secretary – Linda Seals, and Treasurer – Eunice Lacey.

Hamacher Hall, built in 1885, is the former 1st Presbyterian Church of Crothersville and has ties to John Hamacher, a founder of the Indiana town of Crothersville.
