Ghosts, goblins, and princesses alike will gather again this year at the Crothersville Fire Station for the Third Annual Halloween Carnival. The event will take place this Saturday, October 20, from 6 to 9 p.m.
The event will feature games, food, hayrides, and a costume contest. Admission will be $5 for children, with parents entering for free. Hayrides will be included for the kids, and $3 for adults. Children must be accompanied by an adult to the event; no drop offs allowed.
New this year will be the Chili Cook-Off. Residents are invited to bring a large crock pot of their best chili to be judged who has the best recipe in town. Chili tickets will be $5 per person, with guests voting on who will have the bragging rights for Crothersville’s best chili.
For more information or to register for the chili cook-off, contact Rita Brandenburg at 528-1680.
