Douglas West, 10-year-old son of Bryan & Jo Ann West of Crothersville, shows some large carrots he harvested from his garden last week. He said he watered and fertilized his garden all summer long resulting in these 11-inch carrots and a bumper crop of green beans, tomatoes, corn and pumpkin.
