Portions of seven streets in town will be re-surfaced soon the Crothersville Town Council decided when they met May 3.
Three paving companies submitted bids for the project: Dave O’Mara Paving of North Vernon, Temple & Temple of Salem and All-Star Paving of Seymour.
All-Star Paving was awarded the project at a cost of $68,448.
Streets to be re-surfaced include South Kovener from Howard to Main, a portion of Oak Street at the school and the bus route to East Bard, Short Street from US 31 east to the street’s end, Park Avenue from Howard to Main Street, Kattman from Howard to Main Street, East Bard Street from East Street to the ballfield ditch, and Mill Street from Kovener to Kattman Ave.
