The deadline for the Community Foundation of Jackson County’s grant proposals is fast approaching. Each year the Community Foundation of Jackson County accepts grant proposals for projects and needs of Jackson County nonprofit agencies. These grants will be made from the Foundationís Unrestricted and Field of Interest endowments and are available to non-profit organizations serving Jackson County. All selections are made at the discretion of the Community Foundation Board of Directors in the overall best interest of the community.
The proposals are due in the Foundationís office not later than close of business on Monday, August 2. Any non-profit organizations desiring grant guidelines and a proposal form may contact the Foundation office at 523-4483, or via e-mail at cfjcprogram@verizon.net. Grant Proposal Forms are also available at the Foundation’s website, www.cfjacksoncounty.org.
Sue Smith, Vice President of Program & Administration said she is available to any non-profit organization to review their proposal prior to submission. Grant proposals will be reviewed and organizations will be notified following approval at the Foundation’s October meeting of the Board of Directors.

•Potts Family Endowment
•SIHO Insurance Services Community Endowment
•Virginia G. Otto Endowment Fund
•Irwin Union Bank & Trust Company Fund
•The Cartwright Endowment for the Arts
•Carl Hemmer Memorial Fund
•Granger H. and Ruth M. Smith Drug Abuse Prevention Fund
•Tri Kappa Endowment
•Jackson County Youth Foundation
•The Shelter Fund
All of these endowments have been created through the generosity of businesses and individuals who care passionately about Jackson County and the folks who live and work here. The Foundation offers endowment services, gift planning, charitable gift annuities, and scholarship administration.
