While some of their peers were busy taking ISTEP tests, 9th graders at Crothersville Community Schools were doing community service on Monday at the cemetary picking up trash, limbs, and debris left by the Sept. 14 windstorm.
“They will also be retrieving flowers lost during last weekend’s wind storm,” said CHS Principal David Schill. “These flowers will be placed by the veterans’ memorial for the owners to pick-up and return to the appropriate grave stone.”
