The Crothersville High School Alumni Banquet will be held Saturday, May 14, at the Crothersville Community Schools Cafetorium. Doors open for social time at 5 pm, and dinner being served at 6 p.m.
“Due to numerous suggestions last year and requests, we will not be having any entertainment, but the opportunity to socialize and get reacquainted with past classmates and friends after the program,” said Tracy Karnes, a banquet spokesperson.
This year the 50-year Class of 1961 and 25-year Class of 1986 will be recognized.
Invitations will be mailed soon and April 22 will be the deadline to make a reservation for this year’s Alumni Banquet.
“With the rising costs and low attendance in the past few years, the alumni funds are being depleted and we are in need of financial support,” said Karnes. Anyone wishing to give a monetary gift may send their donation to the Crothersville Alumni Association at P.O. Box 34, Crothersville, IN 47229, or call Dawn Lewis at 530-6367.
