Cerro Wire of Crothersville has been granted INSharp recertification for a period of three years.
INSharp (Indiana Safety and Health Recognition Program), along with the Indiana Department of Labor, recognizes small employers working towards exemplary safety and health management systems. Indiana business with fewer than 250 employees onsite are eligible to participate.
Cerro Wire was been recognized as a company that voluntarily takes the proactive measures necessary to ensure employee safety and health. They have not only protected their team members from injuries and illnesses but also reduced Workers’ Compensation costs, improved employee morale and increased worksite productivity.
Most recently, Cerro Wire was awarded the Governor’s Safe Workplace Award in 2009 at the annual Safety and Health Conference in Indianapolis.
