NOTICE OF LETTING OF SCHOOL BUS TRANSPORTATION CONTRACTS
Notice is hereby given to all interested persons that the Board of School Trustees of Scott County School District 2 will receive sealed proposals on four (4) year contracts for the transportation of Scott county School District 2 children along designated routes.
Until Tuesday, March 19 sealed proposals will be received at the District Office located at 375 East McClain Avenue, Scottsburg, Indiana, 47170, until 11:00 a.m. prevailing time. Proposals also may be mailed to Mr. Bobby Riley, Director of Transportation, Scott County School District 2, 375 East McClain Avenue, Scottsburg, Indiana 47170, however, mailed proposals must be received in the District Office before 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 19.
Sealed proposals will be opened and read aloud at 12:00 p.m. prevailing time, on Tuesday, March 19. After receiiving and opening of the sealed proposals, the proposal process will be adjourned until Tuesday, April 9. The proposal and negotiating procedure and definite specifications which describe the routes to be traveled, the equipment to be furnished and other conditions which are a part of the proposal and negotiating process and which will be required in the transportation contract will be on file and available at the Office of the Superintendent of Scott County School District 2 at 375 East McClain Avenue, Scottsburg, Indiana, 47170 beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 27. Thos persons interested in submitting a proposal for a transportation contract are referred to the Summary of Transportation Contract Proposals Process and Conditions and Specifications for School Bus Transportation Contracts, 2019-20 through 2022-23, for additional information.
The Board of School Trustees of Scott County School District 2 reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
