Acting on a tip of drug activity, Last night at approximately 11:30 p.m., troopers from the Indiana State Police with the assistance of the Austin Police Department conducted a search at a residence located at 525 North Street in Austin around 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 14.
During a search of the home multiple hypodermic needles were located along with other drug paraphernalia, according to ISP Sgt. Jerry Goodin.
The resident of the home, Jennifer L. Fox, 34, and a visitor, Jeremy W. Rice, 32, of Wilbur Avenue in Austin were arrested and transported to the Scott County Jail.
 
Fox was charged with maintaining a common nuisance and possession of a hypodermic needle. Rice was charged with visiting a common nuisance and possession of a hypodermic needle.
