These Crothersville High School students participated in the ISSMA District Solo/Ensemble Contest at Floyd Central High School on Saturday, January 29.

The students received a bronze, six silver, and six gold medals. Eight students will be going on to perform at the State Competition in Indianapolis on Saturday, February 19.

Leah Schill, Joey Needler, Brittany Klemp, Jimmy Needler, Caleb Henderson, Denise Maxie, Tiffani Mitchell, Becca Brandenburg will represent Crothersville at the ISSMA State Competition in Indianapolis on Saturday, February 19 at Perry Meridan High School as a result of their performance at the recent district music contest, according to CHS Choral Music instructor Peggy Adams.

Receiving a Gold Medal in Division II: soloists Denise Maxie, Tiffani Mitchell and Savabbah Wooten.
Receiving a Bronze Medal in Division I: piano soloist Marie Salcedo.
Receiving a Silver Medal in Division I: piano solo Kelsey Hoskins, soloists Becca Brandenburg, Kelsey Hoskins, Renda Johnson, Brittany Klemp, Leah .
Receiving a Gold Medal in Division I: soloists Jimmy Needler, Joey Needler, Schill Ensemble of Leah Schill, Joey Needler, Brittany Klemp, Jimmy Needler, Caleb Henderson, Denise Maxie, Tiffani Mitchell, Becca Brandenburg
Assisting with the competition was Janet Nehrt.
Accompanist for the students was Peggy Adams.
